Tetrodotoxin, optionally in the form of a racemate, a pure stereoisomer thereof, particularly an enantiomer or diastereomer or as a mixture of stereoisomers, in particular an enantiomer or a diastereomer, in any suitable mixture ratio; in neutral form, in the form of an acid or base or in form of a salt, especially a physiologically acceptable salt, or in form of a solvate, especially a hydrate, for use in the treatment or prevention of neuropathic pain it is developing as result of chemotherapy.
