Development and experimental studies of heat insulating coatings of pump-compressor pipes based on basalt and glass fibers

2019
It is shown that in order to achieve a significant reduction in the coefficient of thermal conductivity of the material from the initial basalt staple fibers, it is necessary to grind them and clean them from impurities by liquid method. It is shown that the heat-insulating coating of the pump-compressor pipes has restrictions on the thickness of the insulation wall and the size of the linear mass. The results of studies of high-temperature and low-density thermal insulation of short basalt fibers and alumina ligaments are presented.
