The pigmented lesion in the dorsum of the tongue as result of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid intake is one of several pigmented lesions of the oral cavity characterized by color alterations. These lesions have different pathogenesis and etiologies; they can be from racial variations to alterations associated to drug intake, in- fections, systemic diseases and neoplasms. The clinical case here presented is that of a 10-month-old infant
