La destrucción del patrimonio oriental: ¿La lógica de la violencia vengativa?

espanolEn la primavera y verano del 2015 la violencia del Daesh alcanzo sus mayores cotas con la destruccion de patrimonio historico en Siria e Irak, e incluso el asesinato ritual de algunos de sus antiguos protectores. En este analisis se demuestra que hechos igualmente violentos se han producido previamente a lo largo de la contienda civil siria, y curiosamente en el pasado remoto del Mediterraneo oriental. En este articulo se ofrecen varias explicaciones de tipo medico y antropologico. EnglishDuring the spring and summer of 2015, the Daesh violence reached higher levels in the destruction of Heritage in Syria and Iraq, even including the ritual murder of some of the former Antiquities protectors in the region. This analysis also shows that violent acts have been previously produced along the Syrian civil war, and curiously in the remote past of the Eastern Mediterranean. Several medical and anthropological explanations are offered here.
