Determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in water from polar regions by solid-phase membrane extraction and ultra performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detector

2011
The water samples were enriched and separated by solid-phase membrane.PAHs were eluted by methylene dichloride and determined by UPLC with different fluorescence wavelengths.Fifteen kinds of PAHs were all detected in five minutes. The method quantification limits were 0.3 ng/L for Nap,0.26 ng/L for Acp,Fl,Phe and BaA,0.28 ng/L for An,Flu,BbF and Bghip,0.24 ng/L for Phy,Chr,BkF,BaP and DbA,and 2.6 ng/L for InP.The recoveries were 67%~87%.The relative standard deviations were all less than 10%.This method was handy, sensitive, accurate and suitable for the determination of PAHs according to the results of practical samples, especially samples at trace level. It provided a reliable method for the study of PAHs in polar region.
