Rhizosphere fungi and their plant association: Current and future prospects

Abstract The rhizosphere fungi show a close association with the root of most plants, and significantly improve the growth of the plant. The kind of plant–microbe interaction is major contribution of fungus and especially mycorrhiza. Their mode of interaction may be direct or indirect as mediated by the host specific plant. These fungal plant associations provide the positive effect on crop plants can be show for the nutritional aspects for plant and manage by inoculation of microbial combination selected for their compatibility and mutual effect.
