The invention relates to the technical field of polymer materials, in particular to a formula of a rubber type vamp material and an improved preparation method thereof. The heat-preservation folding-resistance vamp material comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 50-60 percent of natural 3L rubber, 3-5 percent of accelerant, 40-45 percent of filling agent and 1.5-2 percent of curing agent. In the main formula, the accelerant is a mixture of an inorganic accelerant, an organic accelerant, polyethylene glycol, stearic acid, an antioxidant and a tackifier. In the invention, avamp material is modified by adding accelerants with many properties into high-quality natural rubber and has the excellent performances of good elasticity, seawater immersion resistance, flexibilityand folding resistance. The detection shows that the whole finished shoes made from the vamp material have the flexing angles of 45 degrees), and the vamps do not have cracks after circulating on the spherical surface for over one hundred thousand times.
