Labor litigation in China

2015
Labor litigation is usually regarded as a subject of law; as a result, little is known about China’s labor litigation. This chapter exams the characteristics and the process of China’s labor litigation and its role in settling labor disputes. The results indicate that although labor litigation has become one of the most important mechanisms for settling widespread labor disputes, in its current state, it has a number of limitations. Implications for practitioners and further research are discussed.
