Use of organometallic compounds for the deposition of the metal on substrates

The use of organo-metallic compounds that contain as metallic component an element of the 2nd or 4th main group, of the 1st-8th sub-group, of the rare earths or bismuth, is disclosed for precipitating the metal on substrates, as well as new compounds of this type.
