Nuclear physics program with polarized 3He beam

A brief review of nuclear reactions with a polarized 3He beam is presented. The following reactions are discussed in particular. a) transfer reactions and their mechanisms, b) spin‐orbit interactions and giant multipole resonances, c) 3He,γ) reactions. Some other reactions involving polarized 3He beams are also discussed. (AIP)
