Histological Study of Calli and Embryoids from Leaf Explants of Aesculus hippocastanum L.

Summary In vitro culture of explants of leaves from Aesculus hippocastanum L. resulted in embryogenic and non-embryogenic material. Histological analysis of the embryoids produced showed features similar to zygotic embryos.
