Comment on the paper of M. Nasr et al. [Superlattices and Microstructures 77 (2015) 18–24]

Abstract This comment concerns the conclusions of the work of M. Nasr et al. [Superlattices and Microstructures 77 (2015) 18–24] on the TiO2 anatase phase revealed by Raman spectroscopy and photoluminescence emission. The above paper gave a wrong interpretation on 144 cm-1 active mode (B1g) of the rutile phase. Furthermore, the most important conclusion of that work on the anatase phase and the green photoluminescence emission needs more experimental support.
