The Therapeutic Value of Challenge

We are steadily asked for information about the set-up and experiences of the New York APTO. We are reprinting these two articles since the APTO Journal is only available in some full sets. The views expressed in these articles are as relevant as when they were written. Very few places, if any, are attempting what New York APTO started, but the interest in offender therapy is growing in many countries. Unfortunately, however, some of these therapeutic endeavors are failing. We hope that by making this material avilable and describing our approach, the New York APTO's experiences may encourage offender therapists.
