A method for material use of product flash gas

Disclosed herein is a process for the material utilization of product flash gas, according to which, product flash gases are returned to the synthesis gas generation section of an ammonia plant without additional compression energy. The required compression is effected by an injection compressor (ejector). A portion of the recycle flash gas may serve as the driving gas, alternatives are feedstock gas for the production of the synthesis gas and gas from the synthesis gas compressor.
