The invention discloses a garbage transporting device, comprising a garbage can clamping mechanism, a garbage can lifting and overturning mechanism and a driving mechanism, wherein the garbage can clamping mechanism is connected with one end of a carriage body of a garbage truck in a trailered manner; the garbage can clamping mechanism is composed of a bearing forking platform and a clamping piece which is tightly clamped at the edge of an upper opening of a garbage can; the clamping piece is used for downwards clamping or upwards releasing the edge of the upper opening of the garbage can through a lifting and locking mechanism; the garbage can lifting and overturning mechanism is composed two sets of double-rocker-bar mechanisms which are parallel to each other in space and act synchronously; the driving mechanism is an energy-saving mechanism which drives a driving rocker bar to swing in a reciprocating manner; an operation handle enables the lifting and overturning mechanism to lift and overturn the garbage can through driving the energy-saving mechanism so that garbage in the garbage can is lifted and poured into the carriage body of the garbage truck. When the garbage transporting device disclosed by the invention is used for transporting the garbage in a community, the garbage can is directly overturned, so as to avoid secondary pollution caused by garbage, thereby saving labor time and improving the labor efficiency.
