Control device for internal combustion engine with combustion.

1987
The signal (T) from an engine temperature probe is compared by a switching logic circuit (26) with two references (28,30). The switching logic circuit (26) selects the appropriate set of data (16,18) stored in a computer (16). Signals from sensors which read the crankshaft angle (BM), the throttle vacuum (P), the throttle opening angle (L) and the engine speed (n) also provide to the processor (20). A lambda probe (22) monitors the exhaust emissions. When the engine is cold, the computer (14) controls the operation of the fuel injection valves so as to produce optimum performance. When the engine is at normal running temp., the computer controls the fuel injection valves so as to produce optimum combustion conditions.
