Unusual metastasis of retinoblastoma to the metatarsal bone of the foot.

Padal metastases from a primary sarcoma or carcinoma are rare occurrences and have been recognised in a few cases. Bronchogenic carcinoma is by far the most frequent cause of hand and foot acrometastases. We describe the first reported patient with retinoblastoma who developed metatarsal metastasis as the first manifestation of metastatic disease.
