Clinical observation of atorvastatin combined with aspirin on preventing the recrudescence of cerebral infarction

Objective To investigate the effect of atorvastatin with aspirin on preventing the recrudescence of cerebral infarction.Methods Retrospectively analyze cases of patients with cerebral infarction who were treated with the com bination of atorvastatin and aspirin(observation group),and compare the figure of blood lipid contents and recrudescence rate of acute cerebral infarction,etc.with a control group.Results Blood lipid contents of observation group decreased distinctly after the treatment(P 0.05),while no significant difference was observed on that of control group(P 0.05).Futhermore,the recrudescence rate of acute cerebral infarction of the observation group was obviouly lower than that of the control group(P 0.05).Conclusion Treatment of atorvastatin with aspirin on preventing the recrudescence of cerebral infarction is effective,with slight adverse effects,worthy recommanding for clinical practice.
