Flora of Bahia: Rapateaceae

The flora of the Rapateaceae from Bahia State, Brazil, is presented here. Two species of Rapatea , R. paludosa and R. pycnocephala , and one species of Cephalostemon , C . angustatus , are recognized. An identification key, descriptions, illustrations and comments for taxa are presented, as well as a map of species distribution in the state.
