Research on the Influence of Vibration on Output Signal of Magnetoelectric Speed Sensor

2021
Gear and magnetoelectric sensors are installed on the shaft in front of the turbine to monitor the transient speed in real time. Amplitude modulation appears in the output signal of the magnetoelectric sensor under the influence of lateral bending vibration of shaft. It is easy to cause teeth missing phenomenon in speed measurement, which leads to the measurement error. The signal envelope is extracted by Hilbert transform. After the envelope compensation of the original signal, the signal is relatively stable. The output signal characteristics of the magnetoelectric speed sensor and the effectiveness of the method are verified on the rotor rig.
