Study on the Relationship between Different Types of Delivery and Sensory Integrative Dysfunction in Children

Objective To investigate the relationship between delivery alternatives and sensory integrative dysfunction in children.Methods Child integration scale was applied to investigate 249 pupils in grade one.Pupils were divided into spontaneous delivery group and cesarean section group by the different type of delivery.Results The prevalence of SID in the group of spontaneous deliver and cesarean section was 26% and 43% respectively.There's obvious difference in SID between the spontaneous delivery group and cesarean section group.Conclusion Cesarean section is related to Sensory integrative dysfunction in children.The rate of cesarean section should be decreased in order to promote the normal development of sensory integration function.
