Determination of the X-ray and K-capture intensities in the decay of 153Gd

X-ray intensities are accurately measured in the decay of 153Gd using Si(Li) are Ge detectors. K-capture intensities and log ft values for the beta decay of 153Gd are determined and presented. Various other parameters connected with the X-rays are also presented. The spin-parity of the 151.6 keV state in 153Eu has been confirmed as 7/2-.
