UN INDICE DEL COSTE DE LA EDUCACION ESPAÑOLA

The methodology for the construction of an index of the educational expense per person in Spain during the last decades, which is exposed in this article, is based on the study of the principal components. From data provided by different sources and previously cleansed, we construct the index. Next, we seek for a mathematical model which is fit for their behaviour during those years. As a result, we conclude that the growth of expenses has followed an exponential-lineal tendency, with an approximate growth accumulated rate of 0'4 %.
