Solution of complex eigenvalue equations as used in the analytical solution of eddy-current problems of coupled regions

1990
Abstract The solution of eddy-current problems in mutually coupled regions or in cylindrical shells always leads to transcendent complex eigenvalue equations. The solution of the equations is described, using various material data. The results are expressed as loci of the eigenvalues in the complex plane.
