Genetic dissection of the maize (Zea mays L.) MAMP response

Key message Loci associated with variation in maize responses to two microbe-associated molecular patterns (MAMPs) were identified. MAMP responses were correlated. No relationship between MAMP responses and quantitative disease resistance was identified.
