A system (330) integrated gasification combined cycle, comprising: one or more components (335) of the power plant; one or more compressors (210) of carbon dioxide; and a refrigerator (240) by vapor absorption; wherein the cooler (240) for absorbing vapor is drivable by a flow (270) from a source of waste heat from one or more compressors (210) of carbon dioxide to produce a flow (300) of a cooling medium to cool one or more components (335) of the power plant.
