Determination of hydrodynamic radii of the components of a mixture by analyzing a dispersion of taylor made following a separation by capillary electrophese.

2006
The present invention relates to a method for determining the hydrodynamic radius of the constituents of a mixture, wherein: (A) by capillary electrophoresis, it separates the components of the mixture M, leaving them within the capillary; (B) one of the ends of the capillary thus obtained, containing in different areas of the components separated in step (a), injecting a detectable label at a detection device placed on the side of the other end of the capillary; ( C) it induces a pressure difference between the ends of the capillary to migrate towards the outlet of the capillary the various components separated during step (a), and finally the marker; and (D) by analyzing the dispersion of Taylor conducted dan step (C), determining the hydrodynamic radius of each of said components from the marker detection time and elution profile of each component.
