PERBEDAAN PARAMETER HEMOSTASIS PADA PASIEN COVID-19 DAN NON COVID-19

2021
Background: Corona Virus Disease 2019 or COVID-19 is a disease caused by the corona virus and has emerged with a rapid spread and death since it was first discovered in Wuhan, China. Hemostasis parameters such as fibrinogen, D-dimer, PT and aPTT were increased in a number of COVID-19 patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of hemostasis parameters in patients with COVID-19 and non COVID-19. Methods: This study was an analitic study with a cross sectional design. Data were obtained by simple random sampling method and the samples are COVID-19 and non COVID-19 patients in RSUP Mohammad Hoesin which included in inclusion criteria. Data was analyzed by Chi-square test. Results: Of the 362 study samples, 171 patients (47.2%) of COVID-19 had an increase in fibrinogen. The p value = 0.085, meaning that there is an insignificant relationship between Fibrinogen and COVID-19. D-dimer levels were elevated in 129 (35.6%) COVID-19 patients. The p value = 0.037 means that there is a relationship between D-dimers and COVID-19. PT levels increased in 44 patients (12.2%) non-COVID-19. The p value = 0.062 means that there is an insignificant relationship between PT and COVID-19. APTT levels increased in 73 (20.2%) non-COVID-19 patients. The p value = 0.543 indicates that there is insignificant between aPTT and COVID-19. Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between D-dimer levels and COVID-19 and there was no significant relationship between Fibrinogen, PT and aPTT levels with COVID-19.
