Hypertension intracrânniene révélant un neuroblastome chez une jeune Togolaise

2016
The authors report a neuroblastoma of the left adrenal gland revealed by swelling of the skull and gross, superinfected exophthalmia of insidious onset in the context of intracranial hypertension, with violent headaches and permanent irritability. The significance of this observation lies in the histological diagnosis, the rarity of such cases in a subcontinent where, 50 years after independence, acute poverty restricts access to technology in the health services.
