Cloning of the Seed Storage Protein Gene in Citrus Sinensis cv.Jincheng

5'-upstream region of the gene encoding seed storage protein in C. sinensis cv.Jincheng was isolated by using Genomic Walking and then sequenced. The amplification fragment is about 2 kb in length, its sequence was highly homologous to the seed storage protein gene of Citrus sinensis cv.Valencia. The result demonstrated that this sequence was a part of the seed storage protein gene of citrus.
