Historia de Arte, Arqueología de la Arquitectura y el telescopio de Galileo Art History, Archaeology of Architecture and Galileo's telescope

2009
Art History and Archaeology of Architecture are two convergent disciplines with a common object of study: the historic architecture. They turn away however from each other without intention of searching for dialogue and debate common spaces. The conceptual and methodological sticking results in defensive movements which feed irreconcilables positions. This paper intends to make a calling to debate to art historians and archaeologists with the aim of knowing how mixing-up points can be overcome in order to build up a conceptual and methodological frame used and shared by both of them.
