The Dutch Head and Neck Audit: The First Steps

2018
The treatment of Head and Neck Cancer (HNC) is an example of low volume, highly complex, multidisciplinary integrated care. To monitor and effectively improve high quality integrated care, the Dutch Head and Neck Audit (DHNA) was set up in 2014 (with quality indicators as a basis) to monitor, benchmark and find areas for improvement. This paper gives an overview of the development, first results, and implications.
