Information prompting method and apparatus

The present invention discloses an information prompting method and apparatus and belongs to the field of computers. The method comprises: detecting that a first application generates a prompt event; determining a moving path for indicating a second electronic device to move to a first position corresponding to the first application; displaying the moving path by a display screen; and sending a control instruction to the second electronic device, so that after receiving the control instruction, the second electronic device acquires an image, which is displayed by the display screen of the second electronic device, by an image acquisition unit, analyzes the acquired image to obtain the moving path and moves to the first position where the first application is positioned by controlling a moving assembly according to the moving path. The apparatus comprises a detecting module, a determining module, a first display module and a sending module. According to the present invention, the second electronic device moves to the first position corresponding to the first application in the display screen of the first electronic device, so that the prompt information is added with vivid effects, and a user can directly determine the position of the first application according to the position of the second electronic device.
