Deprotonation of Glyphosate Studied with X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy

Abstract The three chemical groups of glyphosate undergo deprotonation in a certain sequence as the pH of the solution is increased. In this report we analyse the deprotonation of the amine group in solutions with 2 ≤ pH ≤ 12 through the N1s photoelectron spectra measured in droplets deposited on Si.
