Development of Simple Immuno Dot Test Kit for Detection of Hepatitis B Virus Surface Antigen (HBsAg) (การพัฒนาชุดน้ำยาสำเร็จรูปอย่างง่ายชนิด Immuno Dot สำหรับตรวจหาแอนติเจนชนิดผิวของไวรัสตับอักเสบบี)

Atpresent the test for detection of HBsAg is widely used,so a simple,specific and economical Pot-ELISA for detection of HBsAg is developed. Screening of 300 serum samples for HBsAg by ELISA, Dot-ELISA and RPHA revealed positive samples of 50 %, 47.7 % and 48.7 %, respectively. DOl-ELISAhas 95.3 % sensitivity and 100 %specificity that is equal to RPHA and there is no significant difference in statistic between DOl-ELISA and RPHA (P-value > 0.10 by Mc Nemar test). Based on the simplicity and economic system of the lest, DotELISA is recommended as a diagnostic tool for surveillance and using in small laboratories in developing countries.
