Research on area comprehensive utilization rate based on entropy weight and gray comprehensive relational analysis method

Maintaining high utilization rates of transmission lines is significant to the economic operation of power grid. For large-scale transmission network, it can be divided into several smaller areas. This paper studies the overall efficiencies of different areas and figures out the relatively inefficient area that deserves more attention in the further reconstruction of the whole network. Based on entropy weight method(EWM), this paper uses the utilization rates of transmission lines in the same area to calculate the comprehensive utilization rate(CUR) of area. This rate reflects the holistic efficiency of the area. Gray comprehensive relational analysis method(GCRAM) is adopted to compare and analyze CURs of different areas, and then the area with relatively lowest efficiency is determined, which can provide assistant information and decision-making guidance for the planning, construction and operation of power grid.
