Cogeneration in a wide variety of representative industrial plant applications is being examined including plants selected from the most energy consuming US industries; namely the chemical, primary metals, petroleum refining, paper, stone clay and glass, and food industries. Emphasis in the study is on the use of coal or coal-derived fuels.
