Confirmation of the assumption of plane on RC beams strengthened with bottom bonded CFRP

A nonlinear finite element method is used to confirm the assumption of plane on RC beams strengthened with bottom bonded CFRP by using ANSYS 10.0 software.It analyze the horizontal displacement of cross sections includes pure bending and nonuniform bengding.As a result,the assumption of plane is valid for beams on no condition.
