A watermarking algorithm for anti JPEG compression attacks

JPEG compression is a compression standard, which is widely used in image processing. A new medical image watermarking algorithm against Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) compression is proposed. The original watermarking image is made scrambled by Legendre chaotic neural network to enhance watermarking security. The watermarking algorithm uses three-dimensional discrete wavelet transform (3D DWT), three-dimensional discrete cosine transform (3D DCT) properties and differences hashing to produce watermarking. Experimental results show that the watermarking algorithm has good transparency and robustness against JPEG compression attack.
