The invention provides an energy consumption metering system supporting two-way communication. The system comprises a two-way metering socket, a display terminal and a two-way communication electric energy meter, wherein the two-way metering socket and the display terminal are in wireless communication connection; the display terminal and the two-way communication electric energy meter are in wireless communication connection; and the two-way metering socket and the two-way communication electric energy meter are in power line connection. The invention is used for realizing the metering and management supporting multiple communication systems and supporting electric energy and other domestic energy consumption besides the electric energy.
