Оптимизация процессов управления твердыми бытовыми отходами как единая технологическая и экономическая система

The authors examine the economic aspects in the management of municipal wastes-the current situation and the role of services in solid waste field in Russia and the EU. The article recommends ways to optimize the management in this area, viewed as a single technological and economic system using 1) regulatory quality and quantity of the systematic waste flows and 2) enhancing the functioning of each element in the technological procedure (collecting, extraction, sorting, processing, recycling, and disposal). The economic approach is important in the criteria selection for technological processing of the waste.
