Electronic Properties of Electron-Doped Cuprate Superconductors Probed by High-Field Magnetotransport
2013
In the present work the normal-state properties of the electron-doped cuprate superconductor Nd 2- x Ce x CuO 4 (NCCO) are investigated for a broad doping range, covering almost the whole phase diagram of this material. Quantum and semiclassical oscillations of the magnetoresistance as well as detailed investigations of the temperature- and field- dependent transport and its dependence on the field orientation have revealed a close correlation between symmetry-breaking ordering instabilities and the superconducting state in NCCO.
