The total sample of patients evaluated by the urology service, either in a unique way, as in association with general surgery, traumatology, gynecology and obstetrics under the context of emergency assessment or comprehensive management of the trauma patient, seen at the Miguel Hospital Perez Carreno was 116 patients for the period January 2016- December 2019. 28 (12.1%) female patients vs 204 (87.9%) male were found. The average age of the patients was 29.7 years for men and 34.9 for women; with an overall average of 34.3 years, 37.9% of the injuries were due to a violent act by firearm projectile. Bladder injury with 76 patients (32.7%), with grade III injury being the highest incidence, renal trauma was 100% associated with other intrabdominal injuries. In our country we can observe that most of the traumas are caused in a violent way, by the improper use of firearms, in most cases by abdominal trauma. Unlike the world literature, which reports kidney trauma as the most frequent, which describes the mechanism of production of the same road accidents or closed traumas
