Hydrodesulfurization of diesel over novel zeolite-L containing catalysts

Catalysts containing different contents of USL zeolite were prepared and their physicochemical properties were characterized by XRD,NH3-TPD,UV-vis DRS and BET.Catalytic behaviors of the catalysts were tested in a high-pressure fixed-bed reactor with diesel as feed.The results showed that hydrodesulfurization activity of NiW/Al2O3-USL-1 of appropriate USL content was higher than that of commercial RN-10 hydrotreating catalyst.Diesel oil product with sulfur content of below 10 μg·g-1 was obtained,which met world diesel specification IV.
