Moving direction detecting radar system

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar system capable of surely detecting the moving direction of an object. SOLUTION: In this moving direction detection radar system equipped with a radar transmitter/receiver and a detection reflector, the radar transmitter/receiver is characterized by including a means for detecting a time when the level wherein a radar radio wave reflected from the object moving across the interval between the radar transmitter/receiver and the detection reflector installed in the direction in a main robe range offset from the maximum gain direction of a radar beam of the radar transmitter/receiver is received shows the maximum value, a means for detecting a time when the level wherein the radar radio wave reflected from the detection reflector is received is blocked by the object and shows the minimum value, and a means for determining the moving direction of the object by the context of the time when the maximum value is shown and the time when the minimum value is shown.
