The Correlation Analysis of the K~+ Content and SOD Activity in Wheat Salt Tolerance Mutants Near-isogenic Line

The K+ contents of wheat salt-tolerance mutants were measured and the correlation analysis was carried out. The results showed that the K+ content of different wheat salt-tolerance mutants was greatly different. The K+ content of strong salt-tolerance mutant RH 8706-49 was highest, It is 3.572 times of the H8706-34 s and 3.167 times of the H8706-58 s. There is significant linearity positive correlation between the SOD activity and the K+ content in the function leaves of wheat. We can make the conclusion that there is a positive correlation between the K+ content and the salt-tolerance of wheat .Therefore, K+ is probably involved participated in the regulation of the SOD activity.
