Complications Management in Orthognathic Surgery

Although orthognathic surgery is considered a safe procedure, in some cases, complications such as infection, severe bleeding, cardiomyopathy, and even death have been reported. In this chapter we will discuss some of the possible presurgical and post-surgical complications that may occur based on 30 years of experience in the field of orthognathic surgery.
