Study on the Incubation and Breed of Monochamus alternatus

The experimental of holding the adults of Monochamus alternatus captive and inoculating Monochamus alternatus eggs on health and felled trees of Pinus massoniana showed that although the health wooden can also be engraved by Monochamus alternatus,fewer grooveand and almost no eggs,sometimes eggs can not survive at the normal incubation,otherwise,more groove on the felled wood,with a large volume spawning and high survival rate.In addition,the felled trees were vaccinated,the high hatched rate of its eggs,the larvae normally grow and development,while the health trees were inoculated,it has the lower eggs hatching rate,and poor larval growth and development.
