A disposable applicator electromagnetic energy and method of using same

A treatment apparatus nonpenetrating a plurality of volumes of discrete and separate skin, said apparatus comprising: an applicator (160, 190, 196, 250, 354, 370, 400, 450, 500) having on its surface at least one pair of elements (116, 120) for applying RF voltage at separate skin; a supply (208, 418) RF voltage configured to supply RF voltage to the elements (116, 120) for applying tension on the skin and characterized by a mechanism to randomly change the supply voltage between the elements (116 , 120) for applying tension on the skin; and wherein the magnitude of the RF voltage supplied to the elements (116, 120) for applying tension on the skin is sufficient to generate an electrical breakdown of the skin and allow the electric current hot simultaneously a plurality of volumes skin to coagulation temperature.
