Today micropigments are an alternative as regards filters for light protection [8,9]. Micropigments have taken their justified place amongst the chemical filters for light protection in the regulations for cosmetics by a temporary approval. Titanium dioxide can be employed in the UV-B range and zinc oxide in the UV-A/UV-B wideband range. By continuous further developments many of the earlier applicational problems can be solved today. A general applicational solution for the micropigment based either on ZnO or TiO 2 cannot given, because each variant should be considered separately and the formulations process should be validated as an isolated until production starts
